The Tibetan Equality Project is now up and running! Powered by a Tibetan womxn in her 20s living in Queens, New York who also happens to be a lesbian.
The project aspires to share lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Tibetans’ stories in an effort to ensure greater visibility, understanding, and equality within our community in exile. There’s power in numbers and stories are one of the best ways to move hearts and minds.
Currently working to share more perspectives but on a bit of hiatus as it’s hard to make time with school and work in full swing.
You’re welcome to share your stories, concerns, and perspectives. Everyone’s info will remain private but for those worried, anonymous submissions can be made through the contact section of the blog without having to provide detailed info.
